This is a little React application that I’ve (re)built and maintained for the Data & Analytics Unit for a few years now. It was originally developed by some U of T students, but had some issues and had fallen into disrepair over time.

To get it back in working order, I pretty much had to (chose to, I guess) totally rebuild it from the ground up.
It’s become a pretty important tool in a lot of the Unit’s processes.
In essence, the UI collects from the user some parameters of a request for average motor vehicle travel times in Toronto. Date range, days of week, times of day, selected corridors, inclusion/exclusion of holidays, etc. These get sent to the server which queries the database, processes everything, and returns the times.
