The House
Started: 2024-10-16 and still going
We bought a house!!
And since this wouldn’t be too hard to find with a little sleuthing, I’ll just come out and say that it’s:

It’s a good house. Brick. Detached (though not by much). Two storeys. Built ~1923 as best we can tell. That’s right around when it seems that Rogers Road itself went in with a shiny new streetcar line.
It needs a lot of love, but as they say, the bones are good. It has a bike lane out front and the transit access at Dufferin and Rogers is hard to beat. And I can stand my tall ass straight up anywhere in the basement.
Since we got it, it house-related projects have consumed the vast majority of mt free time.
